The Royal Litter

I have been eagerly awaiting the kittens out of Basia and McCoy when Basia seduced Charlie last year. So I had to wait and boy, was it hard! But early this morning my waiting came to an end with the arrivals of the Royals. They are a beautiful litter of darling babies -- and much to my suprise, there are two black and white kittens and a tortie (tortoiseshell) kitten. It's going to be fun watching them grow up.

(Please note that you will see a number of photos of our cats and kittens that I've taken outside in a natural setting. The LostWoods cats do NOT go outside unsupervised! When we do go outside for pictures and occasional adventures, there is always one person and usually two watching them closely. We do have an outside, fully enclosed run to which the older cats are allowed access, but even then we check on them often.)
